Credit - Team Leader

A very exciting Credit – Team Leader position has just become available at a leading global investment bank based in São Paulo. In this position, you will become a very important senior member of the team and will be responsible for leading a team of Credit Analysts here in Brasil.

The primary responsibilities of the Credit – Team Leader will be:

• Providing leadership to the Credit Analysts and taking responsibility in ensuring that the team delivers the highest quality service to the client portfolio.
• Coordinate with the Head of Credit Analysis to provide oversight on quality of IC credit analysis performed within the given parameters and publishing relevant credit metrics periodically and closely monitor BCA TAT /overdues/refer backs and CaRTs.
• Co-leading discussions with local GB, Products and Functional partner leadership teams, particularly regarding improving ways of working and achieving faster TAT.

For this Credit – Team Leader position you will need:

• Strong leadership experience.
• The ability to engage with Relationship Managers and Clients alike, with the ability to challenge in a constructive manner.
• Related industry experience within a ratings agency or investment bank.
• Strong analytical ability focused on the assessment and calibration of credit risk.
• Bachelor of Science or equivalent required.
• MBA or CFA qualifications are very advantageous.
• Fluent English, including excellent written and spoken skills.
