Principal Finance Business Partner

A very exciting Principal Finance Business Partner position has just become available at one of the world’s leading Mining & Metals companies based in Brasil. In this senior position, you will become a key part of the business supporting Finance Business Partnership activities and providing efficient, accurate and timely delivery of finance related advisory, budgeting, planning, forecasting, compliance, risk management, and stewardship processes

The primary responsibilities of the Principal Finance Business Partner will be:

• To effectively manage and coordinate the annual budgeting and long-term six-monthly cost estimate review (provision) process.
• To be accountable for the accuracy and completeness of budgeting and provision data and/or analysis provided to senior management or other internal/external stakeholders.
• Ensuring that the compliance, forecasting and reporting activities are performed on basis and are accurate and efficient including assistance with planning for such activities.
• Developing business partner relationships with key stakeholders within the businesses and functions as well as externally.
• Identifying process improvements and assisting with implementation.
• The primary focus will be on Brasil finance matters including controversy management, strategic planning, and oversight of budgeting, provision and compliance
• Identifying, analysing, and communicating any material changes in budget and cost estimate throughout the year.
• Analysing and supporting monthly funding requests

For this Principal Finance Business Partner position you will need:

• Degree Level Qualification in Business and Finance.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA or equivalent preferred).
• Experience working with a large corporate or professional environment with more than 5 years of experience.
• Significant experience with planning, budgeting and forecasting process.
• Strong project leadership skills.
• Proven ability to provide practical commercial advice while actively managing risk.
• Fluent English, including excellent spoken and written skills.
