Technical Coordinator 20 years experience in Engineering and Production Operations

This role is to be based in Qatar for Qatar Petroleum the state-owned petroleum company in Qatar. The company operates all oil and gas activities in Qatar, including exploration, production, refining, transport and storage. To provide management advisory role to the Operations Manager. This role will act as a think tank in all operational, technical strategic, management and administrative matters related to the Dukhan onshore Oil fields in Qatar. The key objective of this position is to seek opportunities to increase efficiency and reducing cost of operations by improving resource utilization whilst ensuring Quality, Health Safety and Environmental requirements. This position is a member of the Operational Management team.

Minimum 20 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas industry covering Engineering and Production Operations. A deep understanding of onshore Oil fields. Fully computer literate and able to generate reports and presentations. Fluent in English reading, writing and spoken. An ability to handle multiple tasks. A proven track record of handling Oil Field operations, maintenance, Oil and AGs well performance, process, onshore facilities, pipelines, plant designs and contract reviews, budget and procurement related activities. A good understanding of improving production techniques and design/engineering in the hydrocarbon industry.

Degree in Chemical engineering, mechanical or petroleum engineering. A MSc would be preferred.
