The incumbent will report to the Marketing Director, Brazil and will be responsible for planning, coordinating and executing all SI activities in the Brazilian market. The SI Manager will generate information on consumer & customer trends and behaviour, competitive activity, as well as performance of the brand and communications initiatives. The SI Manager will also act as a resource for the Management and M&S functions, offering insights and confirmation of hypotheses based on on-going consumer research studies, as well as support for formulating portfolio, brand, trade, and distribution strategies. The SI Manager is also responsible for the effective sharing of knowledge and best practice between the market and HQ as appropriate.
|Work in close collaboration with respective managers of the Portfolio, Brand & Trade Strategy group in order to ensure a clear unerstanding of the brands' objectives, projects and information needs.|
In conjunction with the HQ Research Group and local research agencies initiate, develop and execute the appropriate qualitative or quantitative research projects to provide information on consumer needs/profiles/behavior, product/packaging evaluations, segmentation dynamics, trade characteristics and brand equity. Develop management summaries with conclusions and recommendations on actions to build the brands.
University degree in business or mathmatics required. An MBA would be an asset.
Relevant experience in a FMCG marketing environment or research supplier
Fully literate in MS Office tools and market research software.
