Senior Python Developer

What you'll do:

As a Senior Python Developer, you will play a pivotal role in developing high-performance backend services using industry-leading web frameworks. You will work on building and maintaining scalable applications designed to deliver top-tier performance. Your expertise in ETL process development and web scraping will be essential in driving data-centric operations. Additionally, you will work extensively with PostgreSQL (or other relational databases) to manage large datasets efficiently, while leveraging cloud platforms such as AWS (S3, EKS, etc.) for seamless integration and scalability.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining scalable, high-performance web applications and services.
• Working with popular web frameworks such as Django, Flask, and FastAPI.
• Designing and implementing efficient ETL processes and building scrapers to automate data collection.
• Managing relational databases like PostgreSQL and applying best practices for performance optimization.
• Utilizing AWS cloud services (S3, EKS, etc.) for infrastructure and application management.
• Implementing Redis for caching and data management to enhance system responsiveness.
• Working with non-relational databases such as MongoDB for flexible data storage solutions.
• Incorporating tools like Cypress for automated testing and Docker for containerized development.

What you bring:

• 5+ years of professional experience using Python
• Advanced proficiency in English (written and verbal) to collaborate with international teams.
• Proven experience building scalable, high-performance web services and applications.
• Strong proficiency in backend development using Django, Flask, FastAPI, or similar frameworks.
• Experience creating ETL pipelines and web scrapers.
• Robust expertise in PostgreSQL or other relational databases, including schema design and optimization.
• Experience with AWS cloud services (S3, EKS, etc.) and containerization using Docker.
• Familiarity with Redis for caching and non-relational databases like MongoDB.
• Knowledge of automated testing with Cypress and experience using Docker for development environments.
